I have been using Apple products since 2011 when I bought an iPhone 4S. I soon after switched my main work computer from a dying ASUS laptop running Linux Mint to a Macbook Pro. The switch to the Mac was mainly due to the lack of software I needed to use for work with Cisco UC apps. I now own an M1 MacBook Pro for personal use and have an identical one issued for work. With data privacy becoming more important to me, this may change. I still use the Mac regularly, but I have been using my desktop more often. I have been moving to more FOSS software that works on all of my computers.
